We are committed to “thinking small” because life change and growth of the Body happens best in the context of a small group of people. Therefore, we are a church of small groups rather than a church with small groups. We are committed to the value of every member being cared for in a community that will love and outfit them to grow. |
Engaging Worship
When we encounter God in worship we will always be changed! We seek to engage in corporate worship of God that draws us into His presence and reminds us of His position. Worship is expressed in many ways. As we respond in respect to His position the result is changed lives changing lives. |
Relevance
Irrelevance is irreverence! We must be culturally relevant and doctrinally pure. We utilize all possible means (drama, multimedia, arts, progressive music, etc.) to effectively communicate God’s love.

Life Change
Truth always demands a response. People are changed when they understand and apply Biblical truths. The Word of God changes the people of God through the Spirit of God. Therefore, we seek to outfit people with Truth. |
Being Real
There is no need to pretend we are better or worse than we really are. Authenticity, acceptance, and truth telling create the atmosphere where people become more like Christ. We grow when we accept each other and speak the truth in love. |
Multiply
We are missional by nature and a church planting church! Growth in the Kingdom of God happens through a committed missional life, missions, and church planting. We are committed to modeling and teaching a missional “as you go” lifestyle. We will invest ourselves and our resources to impact people where life happens for us and beyond. We will always provide missions opportunities in Morganton and beyond and always support other church plants. |
Excellence
In everything we do, we will give it our best. It might not appear slick or seamless, but it will always be an authentic expression given as an act of worship.
