At seventeen God called me to serve him with my whole life.  Growing up in the home of a worship pastor, my dad modeled for me how a believer (lead worshiper), should live.  While in college I worked as a part-time worship and student pastor and put together a band that played many coffee houses, youth retreats and camps.  After college I enrolled at New Orleans Baptist Seminary.  After seminary I was Associate Pastor of Music/Middle School Students for six years then a Lead Worship Pastor for 15 years in 2 other churches before God called me to begin the “Journey Church” in Morganton in 2008.

My heart’s desire is for God to use whatever I am and whatever I have to help Him create an atmosphere where Christ followers can authentically worship Him- and for those who are far from him to undeniably experience His presence.
 
God brought me my wonderful wife Gina in 2001 and within the next 8 years, God brought us 3 other girls (Savannah-6, Lily-3, and Carly 1) who are fun and unpredictable in every situation!
